Expungement
- An expungement is the process of going to court to ask a judge to seal a court record. Many charges can be expunged from your record. Whether you are filling out a job or housing application or you just want to move on with your life, you don’t want to be held back by an old criminal charge. Remember that criminal charges stay on your record unless you have them expunged. A Kentucky statewide criminal history background check can be requested through the Administrative Office of the Courts. There must be authority under Kentucky statutory law for an expungement to be successful. More information here

Hello, i’m in need of some information regarding obtaining a civil lawyer that would represent me in filing a lawsuit against a former public defender and a prosecutor. My former atty. only wants to file against the public defender, but she did not work alone in violating my civil and constitutional rights. I was incarcerated four and a half years for a misdemeanor offense and was recently released. I now seek legal help in filing a lawsuit.
